Your CV/Resume

your CV / Resume

Creating your perfect Cabin Crew CV is the first and very important step to your dream job. An attractive curriculum vitae will increase your chances of participating in an Assessment Day. A clean and organized CV design will catch the eye of every recruiter.

There are 2 types of CVs:

  • CV for Open Day
  • CV for Online Application
  •

CV for OPEN DAY

This type of CV must be in a simple format, clear, and easy to read. It is OK to place a photo in the top corner, although it is not necessary. You will hand in the photos with your CV. The recruiter will not read your CV as a good book. He/she will quickly scan your CV and pick some information. They do not have time and probably even interest to read all information in your CV. In some cities, up to 1000 people can attend the Open Day.

Your CV must be unique and professionally designed to take the recruiter’s immediate attention.

CV for ONLINE APPLICATION

You attach this CV to your online application. This CV doesn’t need to be pretty (of course, a certain format must meet). Your CV will not be read by a personalist but will be reviewed by an ATS computer program (Applicant Tracking System).

This type of CV must have a certain format, it must not contain a photo (you will upload photos as a separate attachment), nor should it contain columns, tables, etc. ATS cannot read these aesthetic elements. If your CV contains these elements, it would be immediately discarded.

Why do you need a perfect CV?

Companies such as Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar Airways receive thousands of applications per month. Emirates says on its website that it received 15,000 applications per month. That’s about 500 cabin crew applications every day!

Emirates and Etihad have a rule that if you are not successful with your application, you have to wait 6 months before filling in the new application and trying again. They give you time to complete your experience or knowledge and want you to be better prepared next time.

Do not waste these 6 months. During this time, you can already fly as a cabin crew and live your dream.

All that it takes is to send the right CV and make the first step towards your dream job.

Do not make the same mistake as hundreds of other candidates who send a badly formatted CV. Their chances for a cabin crew career ends in a few seconds immediately after clicking the “Submit” button. ATS program cannot read these incorrectly formulated CVs and immediately discards them. Candidates are waiting for a response from the airline, which will never come.

It can take a lot of time to write an attractive CV. Save YOUR time!
