The company has the largest aircraft fleet of Boeing B777 (131) and Airbus A380 (114) in the world, with an average age of 5.5 years.

In 2018, this 4-star airline has transported over 59 million passengers.

Airbus has confirmed it will cease to manufacture its A380 superjumbo after Emirates has reduced the order of these aircraft from its original 53 to 14.

Emirates will receive between 2019 and 2021 up to 14 new A380 models, with an overall order of 123 A380 aircraft.
