How I became a cabin crew
Welcome to my website 'How to become CABIN CREW'
It is a pleasure to have you here and I’d like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce the website you just entered and also tell you a little bit about myself.
On this website, you will find all the information you need for the Cabin Crew Recruitment Process. The main focus here is on Middle Eastern Airlines such as Etihad, Emirates, and Qatar. This will be soon extended to FlyDubai and Air Arabia as well. Once you browse the top menu, you’ll get an idea of what to find here. My goal is to make this site a one-stop page where you will find all you need to know and don’t have to look somewhere else.
There is a daily update on the CABIN CREW JOBS WORLDWIDE section where I post the latest recruitment events happening around the world.
If you have a question, don’t forget to check the Q&A page where you may find the answer. If not, do not hesitate to contact me.
Who am I?
My name is Michal, I am from the Czech Republic, and this is my story. For ten years (from 2007 to 2017) I worked as a Cabin Crew for Etihad Airways, one of the prestigious airlines in the Gulf region.
I attended an assessment day in Prague (Czech Republic) without previous aviation experience. I passed the assessment on the first try and accepted the cabin crew job offer.
My career started as a cabin crew in the economy class, and gradually I have worked my way up to the Cabin Manager position.
Successful completion of the Cabin Manager training. Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
I have experience in the following types of aircraft:
Airbus A380, A345, A346, A332, A321, A320, A319, and Boeing B777.
During my ten-year career, I have encountered many situations. From a demanding cabin crew assessment day to a challenging initial training at the airline, over-satisfied and dissatisfied passengers, administering first aid, to dealing with emergency procedures during a flight.
As a Cabin Manager on an A380 aircraft, I was responsible for 23 crew members and about 500 passengers.
Aviation is my hobby and passion. During my career, I successfully completed an intensive 6-week course and received a Flight Dispatcher license. I graduated from Sheffield School of Aeronautics, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA).
